That "6000 Puffs" printed on the front of the box? It is not a promise. It is a lab number generated under conditions that have nothing to do with how you actually vape.

Here is the math nobody shows you. Puff counts are measured in a laboratory using a machine that takes exactly one-second draws, 30 seconds apart, at a fixed airflow setting, at a fixed temperature, until the battery dies or the liquid runs out. You do not vape like that machine. Nobody does.

The average vaper takes draws that last 2 to 3 seconds. Some people take 4-second pulls without thinking about it. A 3-second draw consumes roughly three times the liquid and battery per puff compared to the lab standard. Your 6000-puff device just became a 2000-puff device. That is not a defect. That is math.

Then there is the battery-to-liquid ratio problem. Most disposable devices pair a large liquid capacity with a battery that cannot actually vaporize all of it. The lab machine runs at conservative power levels. Real users run hotter. The battery dies with 15 to 20 percent of the liquid still in the tank. That liquid is wasted. You never got those puffs, and the puff count on the box conveniently ignores this.

Here is a better way to estimate real-world puffs: take the advertised number and divide by three. A 6000-puff device will realistically deliver somewhere between 1800 and 2200 puffs for a typical user. If you take longer draws, divide by four. If you chain-vape, divide by five. The puff count drops faster than you think.

The most honest metric on the box is not the puff count. It is the liquid capacity in milliliters. A 2ml device will last a light user about a day. A 10ml device will last a moderate user about three to four days. Measure your consumption in milliliters, not puffs. Milliliters do not lie. Puff counts do.
