Let's be honest: most of us have wrapped up a vaporizer and handed it over without a second thought. Then the recipient opens it and the battery's dead, or it's too big to fit in their pocket, or they have to figure out how to use it on the fly. These aren't one-off problems—they're a pattern.
Here's what I see over and over:
- Picking the wrong size. A desktop-style device might be impressive, but if your friend is always on the go, it's going to sit on a shelf. Conversely, a tiny pen might feel too flimsy for someone who loves a solid feel.
- Skipping the setup. You assume it works out of the box. But batteries drain during storage, and mouthpieces can gather dust. Handing over a dead device is the fastest way to kill the moment.
- Forgetting the carry case. A loose device in a gift bag feels careless. A simple sleeve or case adds a layer of thoughtfulness and keeps the device protected.
These are three distinct mistakes, but they share one root cause: you're focused on the device itself, not the experience the recipient will have with it.
