The "one pod equals a pack of cigarettes" comparison you see everywhere is wrong. Here's the actual math.

A cigarette contains 10-14mg of nicotine. You absorb 1-2mg of it. The rest burns off or gets exhaled. A 2ml pod at 20mg/ml contains 40mg of nicotine total. Based on absorption, that's roughly 20-40 cigarettes worth of nicotine — a pack to two packs. But absorption rates differ between vaping and smoking, and that's where the comparison breaks down.

Vaping delivers nicotine more slowly than smoking. A cigarette spikes your blood nicotine in about 10 seconds. A vape takes 30-60 seconds. The "cigarette equivalent" feeling is about the speed of the hit, not just the total nicotine.

The puff count comparison is even more misleading. A cigarette delivers about 10-15 puffs. A 2ml pod delivers about 400-600 puffs. That's 40-60 cigarettes by puff count. But the nicotine per puff is lower in a vape.

The honest answer: a 2ml pod of 20mg nic salt feels roughly equivalent to 20-30 cigarettes for most people. But the comparison is inherently flawed. Vaping and smoking are different delivery systems. The number that matters is whether vaping satisfies your cravings. If it does, the math is irrelevant.
