When you're packing matcha for the commute, the container matters as much as the powder. A small airtight tin keeps moisture out, and a dedicated whisk—or at least a mini frother—saves you from sipping clumps at your desk. I've seen people toss a bag of matcha into a backpack and end up with green dust everywhere. Not ideal.
A good travel setup: a 2-ounce tin for a week's worth, a bamboo whisk if you have room, or a handheld frother that fits in a side pocket. If you're short on space, you can pre-sift at home and store the powder in a small jar with a tight lid. That way, when you're at the office, you just add water and whisk.
