If your device has a battery indicator, you're in luck. Many disposables now come with a small LED that changes color or blinks when the battery is low. For example, green might mean full, yellow means half, red means it's time to charge or replace. But not all devices have this.
If there's no indicator, you'll have to do a little math. Here's a simple approach:
- Check the puff count on the box. Let's say it's 5000 puffs.
- Estimate your daily usage. How many puffs do you take in a day? If you're not sure, count for a day or two.
- Divide the total by your daily usage. That gives you the number of days it should last.
For example, 5000 puffs ÷ 200 puffs/day = 25 days. But remember, that's an estimate. Your actual draw length will change the math.
Another trick: pay attention to the flavor and vapor production. When the e-liquid is running low, the flavor can get muted or slightly burnt. When the battery is dying, you'll get weaker vapor and the LED (if there is one) will flash red.
