Turn the box around and read the fine print. You're not looking for a novel, just the essentials. A legitimate vape product will have:
- A nicotine warning ("This product contains nicotine")
- The nicotine strength in mg or %
- A list of ingredients
- The manufacturer's name and contact info
- A batch or lot number
- An expiration date or manufacture date
If any of these are missing, be suspicious. Counterfeits often leave out the batch number because they don't want to be traced. Also, check for typos. Real brands proofread their labels. Misspelled words like "nicotine" or "ingrediants" are a huge red flag.
