Most disposable vapes fail in summer because they're not designed for temperature swings. The e-liquid thins, pressure builds, and you end up with a sticky pocket. It's not always the device's fault—it's physics. But manufacturers who ignore this reality cut corners on seals and materials.
Common failure points: the mouthpiece comes loose after a few days because the plastic expands slightly in heat. The battery dies faster than expected, and when you try to charge it (if it's rechargeable), the device feels warm to the touch. Sometimes the flavor turns plasticky—that's a sign the coil is overheating or the e-liquid has degraded.
Another miss is airflow. In humid air, some devices get a tight draw that feels like sucking a milkshake. That's because moisture affects the wicking. If a device has a fixed airflow that's already restrictive, it'll feel worse in summer. Adjustable airflow is a simple fix, but many budget disposables skip it.
