- Bring more pods/coils than you think you need. You might vape more when traveling (boredom, stress, different routine). It's better to have extras than to run out.
- Store e-liquid in the bathroom bag. It's already a liquid β keep it with your toiletries in the quart bag for easy access at security.
- Turn off your device when traveling. Most mods have a lock function (usually 5 clicks of the fire button). Prevents accidental firing in your bag.
- Use a vape travel case. A small hard case protects your gear from bumps and keeps everything organized.
- Research vape shops at your destination. Know where you can buy supplies if you need them. Use Google Maps or Yelp to find shops near your hotel.
- Bring a small bottle of e-liquid in your pocket. If you're going out for the day, carry a small 10ml or 15ml bottle instead of the whole collection.
- Be discreet. Not everyone likes vapor. Be considerate of non-vapers, especially in public spaces and tourist areas.
- Know the age of sale at your destination. It's 21 in the US, 18 in most of Europe, 19 in Canada, etc. Always have ID.
- Consider nicotine alternatives for restricted destinations. If you're going somewhere vaping is banned, consider nicotine gum, patches, or lozenges as a backup.
- Insure expensive gear. If you're traveling with high-end mods, make sure they're covered by your travel insurance. Lost or damaged vapes aren't usually covered by airline baggage claims.
