• Reliability: Disposables are sealed units. If the battery dies early or the coil burns, you're stuck. With a pod kit, you can carry a spare pod or battery and keep going.
• Waste: Disposables are single-use plastic and lithium. Pod kits generate less waste, especially if you refill pods.
• Airline rules: Both are allowed in carry-on, but some destinations restrict disposables. A pod kit is easier to pack as spare parts.
