Daily Habits
- Charge only during the day when you can monitor the device
- Use only the manufacturer's cable or a certified 5V/1A-5V/2A wall adapter
- Place device on ceramic, metal, or stone — never bed, couch, or carpet
- Unplug the moment charging completes — never leave overnight
- Never charge in a parked car
Weekly Habits
- Clean device charging port with a dry cotton swab (no liquids)
- Check charging cable for fraying or damage — replace if worn
- For external cells: verify wraps are intact and insulator rings are seated
- Test device temperature during use — warm is normal, hot is not
Monthly Habits
- Full visual inspection of all battery wraps and device casing
- Check battery recycling supply — order more cases if running low
- Review charge time: if it's taking significantly longer than when new, the battery may be degrading
- Replace any battery that shows dents, swelling, or torn wraps — no exceptions
