The XROS 4 has a 1000mAh built-in battery β that's 100mAh more than the XROS 3, and it makes a noticeable difference.
Real-World Battery Life
| Usage Pattern | Pod Type | Wattage | Battery Life |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light vaper (3-4ml/day) | 1.2Ξ© MTL | 12W | 1.5-2 days |
| Moderate vaper (5-6ml/day) | 0.8Ξ© mesh | 18W | Full day |
| Heavy vaper (8-10ml/day) | 0.4Ξ© mesh | 28W | 6-8 hours |
For most vapers (moderate MTL or loose MTL use), the XROS 4 will easily last a full day on a single charge. Light vapers can get 2 days out of it. Heavy DTL vapers will need to charge it once during the day or keep a backup device handy.
This is one area where the XROS 4 has a clear advantage over smaller pod systems like the JUUL2 and Vuse Pro. With 1000mAh, it has 2-3x the battery capacity of most closed pod systems.
Charging Speed
The XROS 4 charges via USB-C at 1A, which is decent but not fast-charging. A full charge takes about 45-60 minutes from 0% to 100%. The OLED screen shows the charging progress, so you always know how much longer it needs.
For a device this size, the charging speed is perfectly adequate. It's not as fast as some of the bigger mods with 2A charging, but it's more than fast enough for a pod mod.
