The 0.69" OLED screen is the star feature of the XROS 4. Let's go through what it shows and what features you get.
Screen Display
The screen shows:
- Battery percentage: 0-100%, displayed numerically and with a battery icon
- Wattage: Current power setting (5-30W)
- Resistance: Current coil resistance in ohms
- Voltage: Current output voltage
- Puff counter: Tracks number of puffs (can be reset)
- Charging animation: Shows charging progress
The screen is bright and clear. It turns on when you press the fire button and stays on for about 10 seconds before timing out. You can also turn it off manually by pressing the fire button 3 times.
Features
- Adjustable wattage: 5-30W, adjustable in 0.5W increments with the up/down buttons
- Puff counter: Tracks your daily puffs β a nice feature if you're trying to cut back
- Smart coil detection: Automatically detects the coil resistance and suggests wattage
- Multiple protections: Short circuit, low battery, over-charge, over-discharge, over-current
- Auto-draw + button fire: You can either inhale to activate or press the fire button. Both work well.
- Child lock: Press the fire button 5 times to lock/unlock the device
Auto-draw is a nice touch for beginners β you just inhale and it fires, just like a cigarette or a disposable. But having the fire button option is great for more precise control and for colder days when auto-draw can be finicky.
